Another upcycled garment, jumper into cardigan :)

This was an out of shape jumper, so I cut it up the middle and with crochet made it into a cardigan with some unusual yarns in terrocotta, gold-cream and saffron yellow, added a tie bit and it's definetely got a new lease of life!

Some new upcycled clothes I have doctored!

This cardigan was missing a whole arm! So I doctored the other one and added some new edging in various blues and olive greens and also gave it a pretty scalloped edge, added a tiebelt that I chain stitched and voila, all pretty again!

This  retro cardigan had some tired old cuffs so some pretty purple and pinks made it all funky again :)

This dress was just a bit too boring for me so I added some black crochet flowers (that I made) and I think it looks better...

I hate being a walking advert for companies, and this hat has some really pretty colours in it so a flower and leaf later, no longer free advertising :D

Quick update

A quick update of some of the things I have been doing....

There will be better photos soon but just a quickie update for now :D

So busy!!

Will do some new pics soon but have completed another blanket, half way through anotrher one. And also finished turing a jumper into a cardigan and am in the middle of upcycling and mustard yellow knit dress :D Busy, busy, busy!!

Also have many, many othe rprojects planned!!

Finished my upcyclced clothes!!

Black jumper into jumper/dress/tunic....Lots of lovely mohair and some acrylic wool around the hem in purples, greens, blues, and hot pink...and cuffs have been redone in purple, teal and black (did fluff a bit and missed one row on one cuff so a bit odd!!) But I am so happy with the end result considering the jumper looked awful at the start!!

And a grey jumper tunic with fairisle pattern in pink needed a new hem, nothing else was still good but the hem had given up life so I made it a pretty new one in contrasting pinks :)
